Diwali at Los Angeles was a different kind of experience.No lights,no fire crackers.Is that Diwali,I don't think so !!! Anyways we manage to plan something for Diwali. Some of my friends got together and decided to go Hindu temple to see the aarti at the ISCON temple.It was a good experience.After the aarti finished we went to one of the Indian shops and had some really refreshing sweets and some samosas,pakodas and really some good food.
We also bought some Diyas("earthen pots ") and some sweets for house.We came back home and lighted up our house with Diyas and ate some sweets.Here are some pictures:
